App.js

<template>
  <div id="app">
    <FirstComponent />
  </div>
</template>

<script>
import FirstComponent from "./components/FirstComponent.vue";
export default {
  name: "App",
  components: {
    FirstComponent,
  },
};

Add icon with dropdown component

After the install complete we have to register the IconsPlugin component in src/main.js.

Bootstrap Icons are designed to work with Bootstrap components, from form controls to navigation. Bootstrap Icons are SVGs, so they scale quickly and easily and can be styled with CSS. While they are built for Bootstrap, they will work in any project.

We are going to place the icon with a dropdown component. Let’s see the code example:

FirstComponent.js

<template>
  <div>
    <h1>Welcome to sortoutcode.com</h1>
    <b-row class="mt-5">
      <b-col class="mx-5">
      <b-dropdown variant="success">
      <template #button-content>
        <b-icon icon="gear" aria-hidden="true"></b-icon> Settings
      </template>
      <b-dropdown-item-button>
         <b-icon icon="unlock-fill" aria-hidden="true"></b-icon>
         Unlocked
      </b-dropdown-item-button>
      <b-dropdown-divider></b-dropdown-divider>
      <b-dropdown-item-button>
         <b-icon icon="person-fill" aria-hidden="true"></b-icon>
